Workwear inspired by traditional utilitarian apparel

We make limited edition clothing, made to order

We prefer to take a more considerate approach by producing only a limited number of garments each year, releasing them in small batches for a select amount of time.

What this means is that we don’t have stock, we only make what is ordered, reducing wastage and ensuring we retain a bespoke and personal brand.

Whilber, pronounced whil - bear, is Welsh for wheelbarrow.

Our name is inspired by the language of the place we live and the workhorse of the garden. We felt that the wheelbarrow is a fitting symbol for our brand - hard working, reliable and humble. A modest companion in the gardens quiet work.

Pronounced whil - bear

As gardeners we understand the importance of well made - hard wearing clothing

Our clothing is inspired by traditional utilitarian garments - clothing designed to be durable and functional - making them both suitable for work, the outdoors and everyday leisure.

As gardeners, we understand the importance of well made and hard wearing clothing. Our clothes intend to form a comfortable relationship with the weather, outdoors and environment, therefore we find it only right to choose our natural materials considerately and from ethical and reputable suppliers.
